The Vulture Droid (known also as Droid fighter) is a vehicle affiliated to the Trade Federation and CIS navies. They can be brown or blue.
There are four generations of the Vulture droid that are released.
The first (7111 Droid Fighter) was in the original Trade Federation colors - brown and tan, and it could change between patrol mode and flight mode but it couldn't move its wings. It came out in 1999
The second (7256 Jedi Starfighter and Vulture Droid) was in blue and grey, the color of the CIS, and its design was the backbone of the future models. It had movable wings and build in rockets on its wings. This version was released in 2005
The third model came out in 2007 and it was a remake of the original and was in the colors of the Trade Federation. Its upgrade was that the model's rockets were built in their body rather than on the wings. It also was slightly more tan than the 7111 Droid Fighter and it was in the colors of the Trade Federation. The fourth version (7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter and Vulture Droid) was released in 2009, and was again in the colors of the CIS. It was somehow more darker blue than the original, which was more tan blue than dark blue.
The fifth and final version also had the CIS colors. It was more detailed. Its main colors were light blue and dark gray. The laser cannons were also styled differently. There was a cannon on each wing (four), instead of two in between the wings.
