LSW studs

Studs are the Lego® Star Wars currency, they are little Lego® pieces similar looking to small disks. In the Lego® Star Wars Games Studs can be found inside breakable boxes, hard-to-reach places, hidden rooms, or simply lying in the shadows.

Stud Types[]

  • Silver Studs: Silver studs are worth 10 points, being the most common currency in the game.
  • Gold Studs: Gold studs are worth 100 points. Less common than Silver Studs, but still very common.
  • Blue Studs: Blue studs are worth 1'000 points, studs with the most value that are found in all levels of the game.
  • Purple Studs: Purple studs are worth 10'000 points and are found mainly during Character Bonus and Minikit Bonus. While they exist in other levels, they are extremely rare:
    • In the Escape from Naboo level one of the cages at the end of the level can only be opened using a character with the access to the Dark Side of the Force. Inside of it is a Purple Stud.
    • In the Darth Maul level after entering the room with the Commander Battle Droids head opposite of where the Stormtrooper Panel is. There will be a Protocol droid panel that grants access to a moving platform riding you to the Purple Stud far in the void.
    • In the Rescue the Princess level, when you reach the room right before the cells, there are two elevators with cameras upon which Stormtroopers will be released. These elevators can be closed if the cameras are destroyed, however if you instead enter either elevator it will bring you to a shooting bonus room in which you have to shoot 10 TIE Fighters. Once you do that, you'll be rewarded with 20'000 studs, including a Purple Stud.
    • In the Anakin's Flight level, while in the Trade Federation ship, you'll spot an Imperial-only access gate, behind which lays a box with 20'000 studs in it, with one Purple Stud included.
