Shadow Stormtroopers were specially trained imperial troopers that wore special cloaking armor. They were more dangerous than normal Stormtroopers, and their armor allowed them to blend in with most environments. The Shadow Strormtroopers came from both variations of the Shadow Clone Troopers after Order 66. They were used to confront Galen Marek.
The minifigure
Role in Lego Star Wars[]
The Shadow Stormtrooper minifigure was first released in 2007 in a Expanded Universe set called Tie Crawler. The Shadow Stormtrooper minifigure are exactly the same as the Stormtrooper minifigures, except that the color coding is different. The black and grey markings on the torso were replaced with a blueish-grey color, the eyes were changed from black to silver. The head, like Stormtroopers, is black underneath the helmet.
