
George Walton Lucas, Jr. (born May 14, 1944[1]) is a four-time Academy Award-nominated American film and television writer, director, and producer. He is best known as creator of the epic Star Wars saga and the archaeologist-adventurer character Indiana Jones. From 1977 to 2005, he served as co-writer and executive producer of all six Star Wars films (as well as The Clone Wars) and directed four of the films. He also appeared in a cameo role in the final film of the saga, Revenge of the Sith.
He appeared in The Padawan Menace, frequently yelling at Darth Vader, and as a voice in the Empire strikes out.
