The 6211 Imperial Star Destroyer was released in 2006. It is based on the infamous Star Destroyers seen through the entire Original Trilogy and Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy (Console). This set contains 1366 pieces. Minifigures include; Grand Moff Tarkin, two Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, Palpatine (Hologram), two Royal Guards, an Imperial Officer, R2-D5 and a Mouse Droid.

The set is split in three parts. The main part is a white section which includes an Escape Pod. The second section is darker and contains stronger guns, a hologram receiver, Darth Vader's Meditation Chamber and a larger play space. The third and final section is the bridge which holds four computer bricks and has enough room to fit a few minifigures.
The third section disconnects from the main assembly when a lever at the back of the bridge is pushed. This allows the roof of the first and second sections to open by means of hinged pieces.
