Droidekas, also known as Destroyer Droids, are one of the droids in the Trade Federation and Separatist armies. They can roll up into a ball and emit their own shields.

In the video games, when a Droideka is used in Free Play, the player can tiptoe to keep the shield generator while moving, albeit slowly. Additionally, attacking immediately after moving puts up the shield generator.
