Used by Pre Vizsla
The Darksaber was a form of dark lightsaber used by Pre Vizsla and Darth Maul after Vizsla's death. It has appeared in the sets 9525 Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter and 75022 Mandalorian Speeder.
Background[]
The Darksaber was originally stolen from the Jedi by the Mandalorians, ending up in the hands of Death Watch leader Pre Vizsla. Vizsla used the lightsaber effectively in his fight against the Jedi, particularly against Obi-Wan Kenobi, but was killed after a duel with Darth Maul. Maul claimed the darksaber and also used it as leader of the Mandalorians, but was defeated in a duel with his former master Darth Sidious. It is unknown what happened to the darksaber afterwards.
