Bossk was a male Trandoshan bounty hunter. He was hired by the Sith lord Darth Vader to capture Han Solo. Lego® released a Bossk minifigure, which was first included with the 8097 Slave I set. Bossk also appears in several Lego® Star Wars video games.
Background[]
Early Life[]
Bossk was born on 53 BBY on Trandosha, as the son of Cradossk, the leader of the Bounty Hunter’s Guild. Bossk began his career by hunting Wookiees, and soon became one of the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunters.
Clone Wars[]
During the Clone Wars, he teamed up with young Boba Fett. After a failed assassination attempt on Mace Windu, Bossk and Boba were arrested on Coruscant. Bossk eventually escaped from prison and teamed up with Boba Fett again. At some point during the Clone Wars, he and Fett accepted a mission from the Belugan Major Rigosso.
During the Empire[]
Bossk eventually acquired a YV-666 light freighter which became his trademark ship, the Hound’s Tooth. In 3 ABY, Darth Vader hired him and other bounty hunters to track down Han Solo and his allies. One year later, Bossk was present on Jabba’s sail barge during the Battle of Carkoon.
Retirement[]
After the Battle of Endor, Bossk retired from bounty hunting. He was still alive during the Yuuzhan Vong War.
Role in Lego® Star Wars[]
Minifigure[]
His minifigure was included with the 8097 Slave I set. His head was uniquely molded for this minifigure and cast in solid plastic. His torso resembles the uniform of an X-wing pilot but is colored yellow instead of orange. His arms are yellow and his hands match the color of his head. The Bossk minifigure has a grey belt and yellow legs. Bossk comes with a blaster rifle. The minifigure also appeared in the 2011 released 10221 UCS Super Star Destroyer set. This was exactly the same version as the 8097 Slave I release.
