This version of the B1 Battle Droids specializes in security. They had maroon (red) colored markings painted on their bodies. They were featured in the 7662 Trade Federation MTT, 7204 Jedi Defense II, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, and the console version of Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. The first version had a red torso and markings on the head, and the newer version had just a red torso and normal battle droid parts. In Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, it features the older version of the security battle droid. They possess no special abilities in the video game. In Jedi Defense II, there was one of the older versions of security droid, and in the MTT set, there were two of the newer ones.
