Ahsoka Tano, also known as "Snips" was the headstrong Togruta Padawan of Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars. She appears in The Clone Wars television series. Ahsoka Tano's minifigure is included in six of the Clone Wars sets.

Character Background[]

At a young age, Ahsoka was discovered by Plo Koon and raised in the Jedi Temple. Later when she became a Padawan, she was taught by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. She also teamed up with other Jedi as well, including Barriss Offee. At one point, she lost her lightsaber on Coruscant and enlisted the help of Terra Sinube to get it back. She also fought at the Second Battle of Geonosis. Later in the war, Ahsoka took part in the mission to rescue master Even Piell from the Citadel on Lola Sayu. She also took part in the Battle of Mon Calamari and freed her Togruta people from Zygerrian slavers. Towards the end of the Clone Wars, Tano was accused of being responsible for a bombing in the Jedi temple Hangar. She was later found unguilty but chose to leave the Jedi Order, as the Jedi didn't trust her. When it was discovered that Darth Maul was on Mandalore, Ahsoka shared the information with the Jedi Order and was granted permission by Anakin and Obi-Wan to take a division of the 501st Legion led by Captain Rex to capture Maul and bring him in for interrogation on who exactly is Darth Sideous. After finally capturing him during the Siege of Mandalore, Ahsoka left with Rex and the 501st division to bring Maul to Coruscant. Only for Palpatine to execute Order 66. Ahsoka freed Maul from captivity to use him as a distraction and used the information on the Clones Inhibitor Chips that was first discovered by Fives to remove the chip from Rex's head. Maul sabotaged the ships main reactor to the Hyperdrive and caused it to be caught in the gravity well of a nearby moon before leaving aboard the only shuttle. After Rex and Ahsoka were forced to escape aboard a Y-Wing, the ship crashed on a planet and Rex and Ahsoka buried the Clones who the both of them thought of as friends before leaving; with Ahsoka dropping one of her Lightsabers into the dirt to make it seem like she had died in the crash. In 9 ABY, The Bounty Hunter Din Dijarin went with his little Passeenger Grogu to the Planet Corvus. On that he met Ashoka Tano, which was in trouble with a Village. He helped her, because he wanted her to take Grogu but she denied.

This version featured a new, double-sided face and the reused headpiece from the original feature. It also featured a newly designed torso and legs. The arms and hands remained identical to the original version. The second version was included with the 75013 Umbaran MHC set and came with two lightsabers.
